Well, I followed through! On September 16, I partied with maybe 18 folks who came to celebrate the publication of my first book EVER. They all bought raffle tickets for my basket, they all bought a book and got their books signed, and they all got beers like they were supposed to haha. Seeing my book, even if just for the night, in the window of a bookshop was…insane. I was hella awkward signing books, so I’ll have to work on that if I plan to do any signings haha.
My grad school bestie Kirby won the raffle basket and they were PUMPED so I couldn’t be happier about how that felt.
